Why not use this Thing as an opportunity to show off my new obsession, the Twilight series and my favorite "monster"? :)

How can you use any of these tools in your library or media center?
Again, I think these tools, like Flickr, are eye-catching and show that we're "with the times" (or at least, attemping to be! :)). Particularly working in Youth Services, spelling with Flickr and such are bound to draw the eye and appeal for children's and teen events. In the short time I've worked with teens, and the longer time working with children, I think they really appreciate that you "get" them and what they do. Not try to BE them, but at least have some understanding and find the fun in it.
What do you think of sharing photos online?
Such a broad question! :) I think, on the whole, sharing photos is a neat experience as, again, you can capture so much of an event or a library in a picture that you would have to take a long time to explain, thus probably losing your audience. I think, as with any Librarian interactions, particularly with Youth, you have to exercise good judgement with what you post, and you have to consider privacy...unless you have the explicit permission of the parent or guardian, you can't post pictures that show children specifically at a location for the sad instance of a family trying not to be discovered by an abusive family member or situation similar to that. Sensitivity both to the family and the youth in question are always important to have. However, bearing those things in mind, sharing photos can really show off what you do and possibly encourage a new child or teen to give it a try!
